In 'Toys I Make, Trips I Take', Preschoolers and their families meet
a 'Toy Maker' who introduces the children into the wonderful world of the Toy
Shop. Meet the exciting 'Jack-in-the-box', a whirly swirly 'Spinning Top' and
a 'Big Red Ball' when he tells a wonderful creative story called "The Toy
Maker Story".
- Listen to Sea sounds while discussing a trip
in the 'Big Blue boat'; to a Hebrew song called "Hine Rakevet" (Here
Comes the Train) while listening to how the train accelerates through the
countryside; to different drum sounds and have the opportunity to expand their
musical understanding and listening skills.
- Read together two beautifully presented books;
"Tippity Tippity Too": a wonderfully 'silly' language book
allowing the children to create funny repetitious rhymes
"If I Had A Big Blue Boat": A book that features an emphasis
on sounds and sights found out on the sea. Some of the sounds invite movement
and making sounds and motions.
'Toys I Make, Trips I Take' brings more good reasons for Kindermusik
families to turn off the television, turn on the music and welcome the train,
boat, spinning top, jack-in-the-box into their day together!
