My 13-month-old daughter Grace, and I have been part of a Kindermusik class for one term now and have had an absolute ball!
'Mr Geoff' is wonderful with the children. He brings the room to life and has an amazing ability to create the most inspiring, fun and exciting atmosphere every lesson!

I love that the classes provide both a structured environment and also times for fun and free play learning. It's been terrific to see Grace discovering music and interacting with other children her age. Being an instrumental teacher myself, I really appreciate and value the importance of recognising and incorporating music, rhythm and movement in our day-to-day lives.

Our Kindermusik classes have given me some wonderful ideas and resources to use at home with Grace, we've had some really memorable times together at home using our 'Kindermusik pack'. I have wanted to get involved with Kindermusik since before Grace was born and I'm so very glad that we signed up. We’ve both learnt a great deal already and had so much fun, we can’t wait for all the new and wonderful things to discover in our Kindermusik classes this year!

"Whenever I mention to my daughter that we are going to 'Musik, she runs to the door and jumps up and down with excitement. She sings and dances all day long, and last week when we were doing the shopping she started to sing a Kindermusik shopping song at the top of her voice (to the amusement of the other shoppers).

She is getting better and better at singing "in tune" and can keep the beat really well. A friend who is a speech pathologist told us it was fantastic for her speech development.

Geoff is such an enthusiastic teacher, and his calm, gentle manner make even the shyest children warm to him. I definitely recommend Kindermusik. It is so much fun, and is helping my daughter's development in so many ways."

The mixture of structured learning, free play/exploration and parent involvement makes each lesson fun and interesting. The 'At Home' kit allows us to involve family and friends in the Kindermusik experience and means that we can sing, dance and play along to our favourite songs whenever we want.

"Our little girl has blossomed in her first term attending Kindermusik Village class. Both developmentally and socially she has come ahead in leaps and bounds, as she responds to the age appropriate music and activities, dancing and singing that both of us are involved in at Kindermusik.

At home and in the car we sing along to the CD, and she immediately breaks out into a smile as she recognises the familiar songs. It is a real joy to see. Her favourite toy at the moment, the unbreakable mirror, further reinforces the fun and learning into her playtime at home also.

"The children have fun but little do they realize that the foundations of musical knowledge are being learnt - dynamics, tempo, rhythm.
Lessons are exciting, stimulating and at the same time educational.

Participation is encouraged but not demanded.
Variety of activities (song, dance, playing instruments and stories) keeps young minds interested and absorbed.
Paramount is the use of percussion instruments to play and entertain.

With each lesson children become more confident and familiar.
New concepts and new instruments are continually being introduced.
